There is a fair amount of rubber left on the Avons, and it has new EBC brake pads and battery Some custom touches (all removable) include the carbon fiber tank protector, tank pads, locking bar ends , battery cutoff switch, bronze screening in the fairing openings, and a Corbin seat. 2003 Honda CBR1100XX Blackbird This is an absolutely perfect example of the later era Blackbird in A1 condition and less than 11K miles. Though not obvious in the pictures, the factory ‘black’ color is actually a very subtle bronze metal flake, with bronze accents on the cases

The bike was recently (beginning of this summer) completely gone through and received new tires, rebuilt wheel bearings, new rear shocks, refreshed front fork, trans re-seal, rear drive reseal and re-shim, new stainless steel front spokes laced to a correct BMW Weinmann 18-inch wheel, new battery, all new fluids, carb rebuild, new points, new brakes and more. The fenders are from a Bultaco, seat is custom made to fit the custom sub-frame. The paint is original and still shines nicely although the bike has acquired nicks, scratches and developed a "patina" from regular use

This is my monza blue r75/5 that's been used but never abused. It's traveled approximately 112,000 miles across the continent, so it's accumulated some bruises, some paint touch-ups, faded frame paint, some surface corrosion, a few chips and dings along the way. A paintless dent removal pro can likely pop it out, but i left it alone as a yet another reminder of it's history. And of my stupidity. :-) so it has a worn look about it, but it wears it well. That said, it's always been lovingly maintained, as evidenced by a thick folder of maintenance and repair receipts dating back to 1981, indicating that no expense was spared in keeping this bike running perfectly. It was born 11/1971 and sold and titled as a 1972 model year. It's a swb (short wheel base) model. It has many desirable period accessories such as the very rare 9-gallon heinrich tank (still wearing the original monza blue/white paint and karl heinrich factory sticker!), brown side-stand (much much better than the oem side-stand), low europa handlebars, craven panniers, koni rear shocks, headlight mirrors, and headlight guard. At about 58,000 miles, reg pridmore's shop (rpm motorcycles) in ventura, ca went through the bottom end of the engine replacing the crank bearings, and treating it to an 840cc big bore kit. They also lightened the flywheel and performed a few other of his reliability tricks that helped him win the ama superbike championship. The transmission was gone through as well for a refresh. After a move, bmw of marin, san rafael, ca performed most of it's routine maintenance, then a few other indie bmw shops, until the bike recently moved to the east coast. The bike went through max bmw's shop last year for a checkup and a thorough service. It received new tires, a new battery, a tune up and fluid change, trans input shaft spline lube, rear drive splines, charging system test (no issues), fork rebuild, steering head bearings, carb rebuild, new brakes, carb synch and other maintenance service to get it in tip top shape. The bike starts on command and does not smoke, does not burn any oil, shifts extremely smoothly (unusual for an airhead!), stops, turns and handles like a brand new airhead. All electrical components, lights, charging system, etc work as they should. I can be reached anytime at (917) 952-1680. Call or text is fine. The bike is legally registered in my name via a nys dmv "transferable registration" (nys's idea of a title for any vehicle from 1972 and older) and currently on the road, so it may accumulate another mile or two before this auction is over.
